Avoid satellites collisions with space debris

There are more than 8500 tons of orbital debris orbiting the planet. Because of their high speed, even tiny particles have the potential to collide with satellites and inflict significant damage. Starting up The Technical University of Munich (TUM), which assisted in the founding of Vyoma, intends to establish a warning system to avoid crashes.

Since the space age began in 1957, 12,020 satellites have been placed in orbit by 6,100 rocket launches, according to the European Space Agency (ESA). This has also amassed a huge amount of space trash over time. Christoph Bamann, who studied aerospace at the Technical University of Munich, says that these are the actual outdated satellites, which are no longer operational or there are rocket parts that can be as large as buses.
